The seminar “Leveraging Data for Better Decision-Making for Multisectoral Nutrition Planning in Bangladesh”, held on 26 November 2025 at Amari Hotel, Dhaka, brought together participants from government leaders, researchers, and development partners to discuss findings from the One Nutrition Coverage Survey (ONCS) and future directions for strengthening nutrition planning. The event featured opening remarks from Bangladesh National Nutrition Council’s (BNNC) leadership and IFPRI, followed by technical presentations on multisectoral nutrition intervention coverage, survey design, equity and co-coverage results, and costing analysis. A high-level expert panel from icddr,b, BNNC, GAIN, and UNICEF highlighted opportunities to improve data use, coordination, and accountability across sectors. Special guests from Institute of Public Health and Nutrition, Food Planning and Monitoring Unit, and Public Health Wing under Health Services Division provided closing reflections, emphasizing the importance of evidence-driven policy for advancing nutrition outcomes in Bangladesh.
